Central heating in Pencoed: what we see and fix
Upgrading the radiators
Swapping a tired radiator for a bigger or more efficient one, moving one to make room for furniture, or adding thermostatic valves so each room can be set on its own: all routine jobs, priced before we start.
Off the lanes, off the mains
If your home out towards Heol-y-Cyw runs on LPG or oil rather than mains gas, we can still look after the heating. LPG installs, servicing and repairs, and oil boilers too, with oil jobs starting with a site visit.
We cover: Pencoed · Coychurch · Hendre · Felindre · Heol-y-Cyw · Croesty

Cold radiators, no hot water, the pressure gauge, a fault code. Half the diagnosis happens on the phone, and it decides which part comes with us.
- 2
Fault found, price given
The actual fault found and shown to you, then priced before any work. You know what the visit costs before we set off.
- 3
Fixed and tested
Combustion checked and the heating left running properly, with a 1 year warranty on the work.

A boiler breakdown and installation of a gas hob and he is no ordinary plumber, when he says he'll be there he is, and his prices are good, which can be unusual these days. Workmanship and attention to detail spot on. Would recommend him without question.

This is a company that is highly recommended in any aspect of a gas boiler, whether it be a repair, service or a replacement. The service that's offered is one of the best I have come across. Nothing is too much trouble. Very honest and trustworthy. Five stars all day long.

Worth reading
- Cold radiators: how a heating engineer tells bleed, balance and flush apartWhere a radiator is cold tells you the fix. Cold at the top, cold at the bottom, or whole rooms never warm: three symptoms, three different jobs, and only one of them needs a powerflush.
- Boiler pressure keeps dropping: how often is too often?Topping up once or twice a year is normal. Weekly is a fault. How to read your pressure gauge, the two usual causes, and why topping up every week costs more than the repair.
- Radiators hot, taps cold: why a combi stops making hot waterWhen a combi boiler heats the radiators but not the taps, the fault is usually one part: the diverter valve. What it does, what to check first, and why it is a repair, not a new boiler.
